I have known Katie & James since we went to high school together. They have always been the most fun loving couple, and have built a beautiful life together over the last 20 years but never felt the need to get married. However, when the invited us over for dinner one night, they surprised us with a great idea! The decided to throw a 20 year anniversary party on June 1, 2019, and wanted to surprise all of their friends and family by tying the knot at their home in El Cajon, California. About an hour or so into the party, I gathered everyone on the lawn in the backyard for a group photo, and then….”dearly beloved”…. James’s best friend, Greg, approached and began their ceremony. The reaction from all the guests was priceless! Catering was provided by Wild Thyme and deserts were provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes. Katie & James’s wedding was exciting and personal to them.
