Most of the time when a client contacts me for a proposal session, we coordinate me hiding to capture to moment of “YES!”, then photograph a few portraits for the couple. When Simon reached out to me, he wanted something a bit different. Simon & his girlfriend, Kayla, live in Germany and planned a lovely holiday to San Diego and Hawaii for this Summer. Little did Kayla know, Simon had an extra plan up his sleeve! Unlike most of my proposal sessions, I got to capture Simon & Kayla’s proposal in full paparazzi mode! Simon led Kayla down the beach in front of the Hotel Del Coronado. A few days later, Simon gave our photos to Kayla as a special surprise. Even from a distance, their love is RADIATING!
