After meeting Melissa & Mari, we knew we were as meant to be their photographers as they were meant to be together! When they told us the story of how they met, our heart exploded! Their chemistry and love for each other is like no other. We learned that for both Melissa & Mari, they are each other’s first same-sex relationship. When they came out to their friends and family, most were supportive, but not all. Despite the challenges they faced, Melissa described building a life with Mari as easy and natural. Even on their toughest days, they remember to laugh and not take themselves or life too seriously. Melissa & Mari wanted to carry that feeling and authenticity through their engagement session and wedding. Although they live in Orange County, San Diego was always a very special place to them both. It was the first place they went away together, and the place know they want to spend the rest of their lives together! We captured their session at Felicita Park in Escondido, CA (one of our all time favorites!) and had an absolute blast!! We can’t wait until the wedding day coming your way October 2019!!
