Athena and Bryan Wedding

Athena and Brian aren’t just high school sweethearts, they are MIDDLE SCHOOL sweethearts. These two charming individuals met when they were in 8th grade and have been inseparable ever since. When we were introduced to them via one of our favorite officiants, Rev. Carolina Poblano with Blissfully Yours Weddings, we fell in love with their story right away. When we asked Athena what her favorite thing about Brian was, she said he was her best and greatest friend in the world and also makes her feel safe and taken care of. When we asked Brian the same thing of Athena, he said she is so funny and is always able to be goofy and brighten his day.

Athena and Brian always wanted to have a New Year’s Eve wedding with a traditional backyard feel. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic was looming, it never really affected their plans, they had the exact wedding they planned to have with their closest friends and family. They also opt’ed to add a Zoom presence of loved ones as well. They hosted to most spectacular day with the perfect personal touches. DIY succulents, custom wine boxes and name place settings. But most special was the hand made masks done by the officiant who also happened to be a member of the family. We were so honored to be part of such a special wedding to ring in 2021!
