Like many couples these days, Shakira & Nevada met in the digital wonderland. According to Shakira, she fell in love with Nevada at first click! After 5 years of courtship, on their way back from a mini vacation in Palm Springs, they made a pit stop in Julian where Nevada proposed in the crisp mountain air.

When Shakira and Nevada described how they envisioned their wedding, they described it as laid back, sweet and romantic. They held their wedding in Nevada’s sister’s backyard in an intimate and beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. Shakira was given away by her father and her brother, Luis, and Nevada’s brother officiated their ceremony.
