Michelle and Tommaso Wedding – San Diego Courthouse / Rovino Rotisserie + Wine

Michelle & Tommaso wanted one thing for their wedding…simplicity! They described their wedding style as efficient and classy.  Michelle & Tommaso live in Northern California and decided to travel south with their family and closest friends for an intimate elopement in San Diego. We started our session at Chicano Park in the Barrio Logan district of San Diego. Chicano Park is recognized for its stunning street art and lively community. Tommaso was inspired by the symmetry of Wes Anderson films and wanted to see the same style in his wedding photos, while Michelle wanted to see something uniquely theirs. Therefore, we selectively disrupted the perfect symmetry aesthetic and made beautiful art that was true to the bride and groom.

After the first look and couples portraits, we headed to San Diego’s bay front Courthouse for their ceremony amongst their closest friends and family members. After the golden hour of family portraits we finished the night at Rovino‘s Italian Cuisine in San Diego breaking bread between two families. It couldn’t have been a better way to end such a special day. The bouquet was made by the bride herself and the cupcakes were made by a close friend of the couple, Amanda Macke.
