Havilah and Parker Wedding – The Old Rancho – Carlsbad, CA

We love Havilah and Parker’s story. This fun, loving, and goofy couple met in high school when they were both living in Spokane, Washington. They danced together at senior prom, but then didn’t speak again for ten years. They reconnected on social media while Parker was still living in Washington, as Havilah had moved to Oceanside, California. They dated long distance for three years until Parker was able to also move to Oceanside. They were engaged one year later in 2019, and had a pandemic wedding in 2020, just the two of them. We were thrilled when they finally got to celebrate with their larger group of friends and family in 2021, and it was even more of an honor that we got to capture it!

When it came time to plan their celebration, we asked Havilah and Parker what was most important to them. As a theatrical couple, they were most excited about the pageantry of a larger wedding. After their first dance, Havilah’s parents sang Fiddler on the Roof and pulled in the crowd seamlessly, while her sister led the bridal party in a dance. It was also extremely important to them that they honor their Jewish heritage. They married under a custom chuppah with photos from their life as Havilah’s sister performed the ceremony. It was very sweet to see the personal touches throughout that complimented their subtle Disney theme. From the gold Mickey Mouse cufflinks and tie clip, and the Beauty & the Beast magic mirror seating chart, to the Mickey and Minnie wedding buttons… it was done perfectly.
