Michelle and Ross met several years ago after being set up by their two best friends, Karisa (the Maid of Honor) and Nathaniel (the Best Man) at Mother Earth brewery in Vista, CA. Neither of them had any idea of what was transpiring but as they rolled with the punches they found out that it was a good thing they did! Michelle and Ross share a love for all things outdoors (especially the desert), good beer, their dog Dash, and icing their friends every chance they get. Little did they know the “icing” was going to come back at them during the toasts and they’d both be chugging a Smirnoff Ice on their wedding day. Michelle & Ross got engaged at their friend’s property and make-shift “Owl Bar” in the middle of Ocotillo Wells, CA. What better place to host their wedding than the place they had spent so many desert trips, and both said yes to! When asked how they envisioned their wedding, Michelle & Ross said, “elegant and casual surrounded by all of our family and friends”. Not only did they achieve this seamlessly, but they did so on a great budget! Michelle & Ross had their close friend, Linda Graves coordinate all the details and set up; their friends ChrisAnn & her husband host the event and also provide homemade BBQ for the meal, mother of the groom and mother of the bride baked their custom FUN-FETTI wedding cake and their dear friend, Rick officiated. It was truly a family affair and an honor to capture! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Jones!
