Captivated by street photography, Paul Douda fell in love with the craft at an early age. From the moment he picked up his mom’s Nikon Nikkormat in high school, Paul was hooked! From there he further explored his new passion in college, and has grown into a respected and talented wedding photographer located in San Diego. After 13 years, Paul has honed his craft, and can articulate a distinct voice for every wedding, engagement and proposal he is privileged enough to be a part of. Paul’s has a true knack for evoking the rawness of every event, and prides himself on his ability to tell a story in his photography. Standing at 6’6″, “tall Paul” can pretty much capture every angle you could possibly imagine!

When Paul isn’t taking pictures, he is spending time with his beautiful family, dressing as Darth Vader, and on finding the best carnitas fries in San Diego. I've been capturing weddings professionally since 2004, after I photographed my first wedding on film cameras! (I know - WHOA!) Don't worry, I now capture all weddings and sessions on my updated Nikon gear! I love to play with light, and pride myself on my ability to work with natural elements. My style of shooting is often described as bright, beautiful, and full of love. I'm passionate about taking an equal part photojournalism, capturing all the candid moments, and portraiture, sprinkling in elegant poses throughout the day. Our team has a true knack for evoking the rawness of every event, and can articulate a distinct voice for every moment.
